Ministry of Health reported over 9,500 cases of infection with COVID-19 last week

Chisinau, 2 Aug. /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Health announced that on 25-31 July 9,528 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were registered in the country, with 3,735 more cases than in the previous week.

During the same period, 37,634 tests were performed and 22 deaths were recorded.

Last week, 619 people received their first dose of the anti-COVID vaccine, 3196 - received their third dose of the vaccine, and 746 people - their fourth dose. In total, so far 1,067,791 people have been vaccinated with the full schedule.

Currently, the country remains in Green Code due to COVID-19. Also, since last week, citizens can administer their Booster 2 dose of the vaccine against the new coronavirus.
