Ministry of Health reported over 10,147 cases of infection with COVID-19 last week

Chisinau, 9 Aug. /MOLDPRES/- Ministry of Health announced that on August 1-7, 10,147 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were registered in the country, with 619 more cases than in the previous week.
During the same period, 37,628 tests were performed and 32 deaths were recorded.
Last week, 708 people received their first dose of the anti-COVID vaccine, 2508 - received their third dose of the vaccine. In total, so far 1,068,269 people have been vaccinated with the full schedule.
From July, citizens can administer Booster 2 dose of the vaccine against the new coronavirus.
