Chisinau, August 12 /MOLDPRES/- The war in Ukraine has become a tough challenge for people of the second generation, who have already gone through trials and carried too many burdens in life. It was not easier for the young people either, who had just started a family and brought a child into the world. They saw their lives differently, they had many aspirations, but February 24 ended their expectations and separated their families for many months to come.

Daria Talatova is a 30-year-old young mother from Ukraine. She lived in Odessa, together with her husband they were raising their one and a half year old daughter. On the morning of February 24, the woman woke up to the sound of explosions, alarms and shaking. The windows were constantly moving, the child also woke up, he was very alarmed, just like them.

On March 14, the women reached the border of our country. She is survived by her husband, father, grandmother and stepfather. They crossed the border and didn't know who to talk to and where to shelter. Through the crowd of refugees they met other residents of Odessa, as she calls them "our Odessans", and helped each other. In a short time they arrived at the placement center for refugees in the town of Ivancea, Orhei district, where they are still today.

In such circumstances, the thought of returning home becomes a realistic option, except that Russian missiles do not stop attacking Ukraine. Fortunately, the family home was not seriously damaged. The women are waiting to be reunited with their grandmother and the men of the family, who have not yet been called to the battlefield. Even today, every call from the neighboring country still awakens their sense of fear and uncertainty, because the signals received from the Russian bombings can change their lives and steal their loved ones who are waiting for them to return home.
