Embassies of Moldova, Romania in Italy to celebrate Romanian Language Day

Chisinau, August 16 /MOLDPRES/- The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova and the Embassy of Romania in Italy will celebrate Romanian Language Day through a joint event.

According to the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Italy, the celebration will take place on August 31, starting at 7:00 p.m., at the headquarters of the Romanian Embassy in Rome, Via Nicolo Tartaglia No40.

The celebration is organized with the involvement of the Dacia Association and the Romanian Literary Cenacle from Rome.

The joint event aims to highlight the special connection between the Republic of Moldova and Romania, which are linked by the same language, common spiritual heritage, as well as a shared European destiny.

The Romanian language is celebrated annually on August 31 in the Republic of Moldova and Romania, through numerous cultural events.
