Canoeist Serghei Tarnovschi won silver at European Championship

Chisinau, August 22 /MOLDPRES/- Canoeist Serghei Tarnovschi became European vice-champion in the 500-meter distance, the National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOS) announced yesterday.
At the European Championship, held in Munich (Germany), he registered the result of 1:48.160, being surpassed by the Czech Martin Fuksa (1:47.183). The podium was completed by Romanian Cătălin Chirilă (1:48.364).
Serghei Tarnovschi also won the silver medal at the European Championships in 2016 (1000 meters) and 2021 (500 meters).
