Chisinau, August 24 /MOLDPRES/- The law on state social insurance budget for 2022 will be amended under a decision approved today by the government. The adjustment will be carried out following the analysis of the execution of the budget in the first semester of this year, the dynamics of the contingent of beneficiaries and the average sizes of social benefits, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

Rectification of the budget is also necessary for the implementation starting from 1 October of new actions, initiated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, namely:

- providing one-off aid worth 1,500 lei to the beneficiaries of all types of pensions and state social allowances set until 1 October 2022, whose monthly amount does not exceed 5,000 lei, residing in the Republic of Moldova;

- establishing the monthly allowance of 1,000 lei for child care up to the age of two, regardless of whether the children's parents have insured or uninsured status;
