2022-2023 academic year started in Moldova

Chisinau, 1 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Educational process in the pre-university institutions of Moldova started today traditionally on 1 September with solemn events on the First Bell.

Pupils of pre-university, vocational-technical education, college and university students returned to classes on 1 September with physical presence.

The Ministry of Education and Research issued an order that stipulates that the first hour of study on 1 September will be devoted to the Year of Gratitude, to the heroes who fell in the battles for the defense of the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova.

There are over 1,200 schools in Moldova, where about three hundred thousand pupils study. Most institutions are of secondary level.
