Moldovan canoeist won bronze medal at Under 18 World Cup

Chisinau, 2 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Canoeist from the Republic of Moldova Mihai Culceac won the bronze medal at Under 18 World Championship in Hungary.
According to the National Olympic and Sports Committee, he registered the result of 3:57.63 in the distance of 1000 meters, being surpassed by the German David Toepel (3:56.15) and the Polish Damian Sieradzan (3:56.98).
The Under 23 World Cup is also held in Hungary, where our country is represented by athletes Daniela Cociu, Maria Olărașu and Mihai Chihaia.
