About 4,000 cases of COVID-19 recorded last week

Chisinau, 6 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Health announced that the last week, 4,058 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were recorded in the country, down by almost 2,000 cases than the previous week.

During the same period, 23,969 tests were made and 28 deaths were recorded.

Also, 322 people received their first dose of the COVID vaccine, and 2,556 received their third dose. In total, so far 1,070,407 people have been vaccinated with the full schedule.

Starting from July, citizens can administer their Booster 2 dose of the vaccine against COVID-19. At the same time, it is possible to immunize children who have reached the age of 12.

Specialists also recommend the population to wear a protective mask in crowded public spaces and on public transport. At the same time, wearing it is mandatory in medical institutions.
