Moldovan Superior Council of Magistracy approves carrying out of searches at judge

Chisinau, 9 September /MOLDPRES/ - The members of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) today admitted a request by Acting Prosecutor General Dumitru Robu on the carrying out of searches at a judge of the Chisinau Court.
The magistrate is suspected of illicit enrichment and is to be suspended from office till a decision is pronounced.
Also today, the CSM members accepted the application on resignation of two judges who had reached the age ceiling.
