Moldovan president has meeting with Romanian MPs

Chisinau, 12 September /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today met Romanian lawmakers, the president of the Save Romania Union Party of Romania Catalin Drula and the formation’s deputy president, Dan Barna, on a working visit to Chisinau, the presidential press service has reported.
The discussions were focused on the Moldovan-Romanian relations and Romania’s contribution to Moldova’s European integration process. The interlocutors also emphasized the importance of the justice reform and Romania’s experience to this end.
The sides also tackled issues on the energy and economic security, in the context of the vulnerabilities boosted by the war in Ukraine. Maia Sandu stressed the importance of a good cooperation with Romania, in order to overcome the energy crisis faced by Moldova.
