Moldovan electoral body accredits first observers for new local elections

Chisinau, 13 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today accredited 12 national observers on behalf of the Promo-LEX Association for the monitoring of the new local elections due on 16 October 2022.
According to CEC, the deadline for submitting applications on the accrediting as observer is seven day before the ballot, i.e. 9 October this year.
On 16 October, new local polls will be held in three settlements of Moldova: Salcuta village (Causeni district), the communes Ialpujeni (Cimislia district) and Braniste (Rascani district).
