First performance of play by English playwright to take place at Eugene Ionesco National Theatre

Chisinau, 4 November /MOLDPRES/ - The play, Rope, by English playwright Patrick Hamilton, stage management and adaptation of Sergiu Chiriac, will be presented at the Eugene Ionesco National Theatre on 5 November at 17:30.

According to the organizers, the play is an adaptation according to the homonymous play by English dramatist Patrick Hamilton. The well-known movie, ROPE, by Alfred Hitchcock was made based on this text as well.

One of the basic problems in this text is the debauchery, egoism, lack of responsibility, of empathy of the young generation, the savage way they defend their rights, by encroaching upon the rights and the lives of other people. Rope is a topical, modern play, with young actors, about and for young people.
