More than 12,500 vacant jobs proposed by National Employment Agency of Moldova

Chisinau, 10 November /MOLDPRES/ - The National Employment Agency (ANOFM) has proposed more than 12,500 vacant jobs to citizens from all over Moldova.

According to ANOFM, most vacant jobs are registered in Chisinau – 5,761, Balti – 911 and Ungheni – 742. The fewest ones are announced in the districts of Criuleni – 27 and Donduseni – 25.   

As many as 2,137 jobs are available for people with higher education and secondary education, which accounts for about 17 of all the number. Most positions suggested are in the health and social assistance sectors, where 496 vacant jobs are announced. They are followed by the IT field – 112 positions and specialists in financial activities and insurances – 103.

ANOFM provides 10,452 jobs for people with secondary vocational education and unqualified workers, which is 83 per cent of the overall number. In this respect, most vacant positions are in the light industry sector – 2,292, the one of services and trade – 1,523, the craftsmanship field – 1,506 and transport – 1,263 vacant positions.   

Also, ANOFM received notifications from economic agents about the employment of 875 citizens from Ukraine. Most of them are employed in Chisinau: 652; Autonomous Territorial Unit Gagauz-Yeri – 45, Balti – 29, Ungheni – 19 and Cahul – 18. These people are employed in the following professions: programmer, engineer, seller, cook, physician, educator, manager in diverse fields, etc. In all, over 170 employers showed willingness to employ Ukrainian citizens and announced about 2,300 vacant positions. At the same time, over 600 Ukrainian citizens registered in ANOFM records to get support at employment.      

People who are looking for jobs can appeal to territorial employment subdivisions, where they can receive information on the vacant jobs available.
