ANSA announced withdrawal of batch of pistachios from market

Chisinau, Nov. 15 /MOLDPRES/- The National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) announced today about the decision of the Carl Wilhelm Clasen GmbH company to withdraw and voluntarily recall from consumers the product K-Classic Pistachios, roasted with no salt.

According to ANSA, the product was sold in Kaufland stores, and the reason for the withdrawal is the detection of a high content of the Ochratoxin A contaminant.

"Consumers who bought this product are asked not to consume it and to return it to the store where they purchased it, for a full refund. The presentation of the tax receipt is not necessary", the National Food Safety Agency said.
