CSP appointed candidate for acting head of PCCOCS

Chisinau, Nov. 17 /MOLDPRES/- Victor Furtună will serve as interim head of the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases (PCCOCS). The Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP) appointed him today.

Victor Furtună holds the position of anti-corruption prosecutor since April 2019. Previously, he worked in the Prosecutor's Office of the Buiucani sector, Chisinau municipality.

Former acting prosecutor general Dumitru Robu also applied for the position of head of the PCCOCS, but his candidacy was not accepted by the CSP.

So far, the interim position of head of PCCOCS has been held by Sergiu Russu.
