Employees of nourishment units of Chisinau-based kindergartens to receive material assistance

Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/ - The employees of the nourishment units of the kindergartens from the Moldovan capital and its suburbs will benefit from material assistance worth one office salary. The Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) today approved a decision to this end, at a request by the CMC education, youth and sport general department.

According to the Chisinau city hall, about 1.7 million lei (about 85,000 euros) will be allocated for providing the material assistance. The latter will be offered based on a written application, except for the people against whom disciplinary measures were enforced.

According to the education, youth and sport general department, the average age of the auxiliary staff from the nourishment units is 57-65 years. If the employees resign, the vacancies are not filled, as the salaries are not attractive.

As many as 600 staff units are envisaged at those 128 early education institutions from Chisinau. Presently, 461 of them are filled.
