Moldovan tax body collected 48.9 billion lei since beginning of 2022

Chisinau, Dec. 5 /MOLDPRES/- The State Fiscal Service (SFS) announced today that 48.9 billion lei (about 2.45 billion euros) were collected in 11 months of 2022.

According to the institution, receipts to the National Public Budget administered by the Fiscal Service amounted to 48.9 billion lei in 11 months of 2022, which indicates an increase of 6849.9 million lei or 16.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Thus, 21.0 billion lei were collected to the state budget in 2022, which is 3306.9 million lei more compared to the same period of 2021, or an increase of 18.7%.

"The local budgets recorded receipts in the amount of approximately 5.3 billion lei, which represents 645.7 million lei more compared to the same period of the previous year or by 13.8%. Also, in the mentioned period, 16.9 billion lei were collected from the State Social Insurance Budget, which is about 2201.8 million lei more compared to the similar period of the previous year, or an increase of 15%", the SFS said.

At the same time, 5.6 billion lei were accumulated in the mandatory healthcare insurance funds, which is 695.5 million lei more compared to the similar period of 2021 or by 14%.
