Roads in Moldova passable in winter conditions

Chisinau, Dec. 5 /MOLDPRES/- Roads in the country are passable in winter conditions.

According to the State Administration of Roads (ASD), yesterday and today, the maintenance works of the national roads during the winter continued in the regions where the interventions of the territorial units of Roads company were necessary. In the North, Center and South, patrolling, anti-sledging and snow removal work were carried out.

ASD warns drivers to comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation regarding equipping vehicles with appropriate tires and adapting the speed regime to winter traffic conditions.

For Tuesday, December 6, meteorologists forecast maximum temperatures of 5 degrees Celsius during the day and -4 degrees at night, without precipitation.
