Exhibition of post cards dedicated to winter holidays opened at Chisinau-based museum

Chisinau, 12 December /MOLDPRES/ - An exhibition of post cards dedicated to the winter holidays titled, People were sending post cards each other in former times, has been opened at the National History Museum of Moldova.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the exhibition’s curator, scientific researcher Ana Gritco said that the exhibition comprised 16 illustrations from 1920s-1930s and the oldest one was from 1901.
”The heritage of the National History Museum of Moldova has a rich collection of illustrated post cards, which includes also congratulations on various occasions,’’ Ana Gritco noted.
The exhibition is part of the cycle, Exhibit of the Month, and will be opened till 1 January 2023.
