Moldovan speaker attends UNITEM Awards Gala

Chisinau, Dec. 13 /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu attended the Theater Union of Moldova (UNITEM) Awards Gala on Monday evening. He handed an award of excellence to actor Constantin Cotimanis, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.

"A classic of Romanian cinema, theater and television. He has dozens of memorable roles on the stages of major theaters in Romania, but also a high-quality filmography, with roles in highly successful films", he said.

At the same time, the official congratulated all the artists working in this field. "Romanian culture is rich in that it has people of great value on both banks of the Prut," added the speaker.

The Awards Gala reached the 21st edition. During the ceremony, several artists in the field were awarded in various categories, including the best dramatic performance, the best directorial work, the best female and male role, the best theatrical costumes, the best scenography, etc.
