Energy block No 1 of Termoelectrica stock company of Moldova brought into service

Chisinau, 13 February /MOLDPRES/ - The energy block No 1 of the Termoelectrica stock company today was brought into service, after it had been shut down for maintenance works in the last ten days.   

According to Termoelectrica, „the works carried out according to the technical norms were essential, in order to avoid technical problems in the long run and to optimize the performance and availability of the energy block.’’

„Presently, the hydraulic regime and the thermal heating supply one is within the pre-established limits and works in the optimal conditions.’’ Termoelectrica noted.  

The energy block No 1 was temporarily shut down on 4 February, this year, in order to allow carrying out of maintenance works. At the same time, an emergency shutdown of the energy block No 3 of Termoelectrica took place in November 2022. The case was considered by an external expertise commission, which has recently said that, most likely, the emergency shutdown occurred because of the obsolete equipment.
