Public consultations on new strategy of public administration's reform take place in Chisinau, Cahul, Hancesti

Chisinau, 16 February /MOLDPRES/ - The State Chancellery continues to organize public discussions on the strategy of reform of the public administration for 2023-2030. On 14 February in Cahul, mayors, local and district councilors from Cantemir, Cahul and Taraclia participated in a public discussion with the government’s deputy secretary general, Igor Psenicinii, and the State Chancellery’s team, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.     

On the same day in Hancesti, civil servants and representatives of the local public administration from the districts of Cimislia, Basarabeasca, Leova and Hancesti learned about the most important changes the new strategy will bring. 

Mayors, local councilors and civil servants from Criuleni, Straseni, Dubasari, Ialoveni and Chisinau municipality assembled in Chisinau on 15 February. The participants discussed mostly the voluntary amalgamation, possibilities of carrying it out in Moldova and made proposals for the text of the strategy, which are to be analyzed by the State Chancellery for working out final document.   

On 17 February starting from 10:00, public discussions will be held in the following locations of north Moldova: 

Balti city (at the headquarters of the Alecu Russo State University) - the districts of Falesti, Glodeni, Rascani, Sangerei and Balti municipality will participate;

Soroca city (at the Cultural Centre), - the Drochia, Floresti and Soroica districts participate;  

Edinet city (at the Community Centre), the Ocnita, Donduseni, Briceni and Edinet districts take part.

On 20 February, all people interested from the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia are invited to participate in public consultations organized in Comrat, at the Mihail Ceakir Pedagogical College, starting from 10:00.
