Civil servants of Moldova to be able to carry out remunerated activities in projects implemented by EU

Chisinau, 16 February /MOLDPRES/ - Civil servants will be able to carry out remunerated activities within research and innovation projects implemented at the level of the European Union. The parliament adopted a draft amendment of the law on the public office and the status of civil servant in the second reading today.  

The document sees the improvement of the normative framework, which regards the leadership public offices of the high level. Thus, the temporary exercising of a public leadership office of high level will be carried out by the civil servant of the same public authority, who fulfills the conditions and requirements provided for in the job description related to the public office, for which the duties of ad interim are provided and does not have unextinguished disciplinary sanctions.    

At the same time, the people due to be promoted for public leadership offices of high level will be able to be subjected to verification by the National Integrity Authority, National Anticorruption Centre and the Intelligence and Security Service.
