Moldovan wrestler wins bronze at tournament in Egypt

Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/ – A graeco-roman wrestler, Alexandrin Gutu, has won a bronze medal at the Ibrahim Moustafa tournament from Egypt.
In the first wrestling of the 77kg weight category, he was defeated 1-11 by the future finalist, Kazakh wrestler Demeu Zhadrayev, world vice champion in 2017.
After reaching re-qualifications, Alexandrin Gutu defeated Georgian Iuri Lomadze and Swedish wrestler Per Albin Olofsson 6-4 for the bronze medal.
According to the National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOS), at the weight category of 63 kg, Victor Ciobanu was defeated by sportsman Syimuk Makhmudov in re-qualifications.
