Aid platform for refugees from Ukraine Dopomoga.gov.md recorded over 2.6 million views

Chisinau, March 1. /MOLDPRES/- During one year, the governmental aid platform for refugees from Ukraine Dopomoga.gov.md recorded over 2.6 million views.

According to the Electronic Government Agency, the Dopomoga page was launched as part of the Moldova for Peace Campaign by the Government of the Republic of Moldova and has become the most important source of information and support for Ukrainian citizens who have found refuge in our country.

Thus, more than 500 thousand unique users accessed the page, looking for information about shelter, food, medical services, transport, legal advice, financial aid, activities for children, employment, measures taken by the authorities, civil society, private organizations, simple citizens in support of refugees and other useful information systematized on the platform from truthful and official sources. The most popular sections of the site, according to visitor statistics, are: "Get IDNP", "Financial assistance", "Housing", "For children", "List of organizations providing non-financial assistance" and others.

On average each individual user used the site at least four times. More than 80% accessed the platform from mobile devices and the rest from desktop computers. Most visitors who consulted the page registered from countries such as: Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Germany, USA, Great Britain, Holland, Austria and Italy.

On March 1 last year, the information resource www.dopomoga.gov.md was created in record time - 5 days, through the joint effort of the Electronic Government Agency, the volunteer team of a commercial bank and with the support of partners: the German Cooperation Agency, the German International Cooperation Agency GIZ Moldova and the Swiss Agency for Cooperation and Development.

The page "Dopomoga.gov.md" is continuously updated with new compartments and categories of information depending on the evolution of the situation in the region, the needs of refugees and the decisions of the Commission for Emergency Situations.
