New tariffs for thermal agent delivered in Moldovan capital enter into force

Chisinau, 2 March /MOLDPRES/ - The new tariffs for thermal agent, delivered by the Termoelectrica stock company to Moldovan capital’s residents, today entered into forced with their publication in the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial). Thus, while so far, consumers have paid 2,854 lei for one Gcal, following the tariffs’ revision, the price will be of 3,577 lei (178 euros), up by 723 lei or 25 per cent.

The document published in the Official Journal also sees the decrease by 0.61 lei or 14 per cent of the tariff for electric energy generated by Termoelectrica, from 4.54 lei/kWh to 3.93 lei/kWh.

The new tariffs were approved at a meeting of the National Energy Regulatory Agency on 28 February this year.

Last time, the tariff for thermal energy delivered to consumers from Chisinau increased in October 2022.
