Policemen record about 3,700 infringements in traffic in Moldova on last days-off

Chisinau, 6 March /MOLDPRES/ - Law-enforcers registered about 3,700 infringements of the road traffic regulation on the last days-off.
According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), 1,829 drivers were sanctioned for the exceeding of the speed limit and 31 were driving drunk.
At the same time, 164 drivers infringed the rules of use of the seat belt and 440 failed to observe the road signs and the ones of giving priority of passage.
Also, in the last week-end, 233 drivers stopped their vehicles in banned places.
