Moldovan president visits two localities in Ialoveni district

Chisinau, March 22. /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu visited Bardar and Nimoreni villages, Ialoveni district yesterday.
According to the presidential press service, Maia Sandu approached the government's efforts to preserve tranquility and peace in the country, the economic development plans for the coming years and the major objective of becoming part of of the great European family by late this decade.
"The people of these localities have always been supporters of democracy and the European path of the country, and today they understand the historic chance we have to achieve Moldova's accession to the EU, being determined to get involved for our common success. We also discussed the justice reform - people asked us to move forward, with determined steps, to free the justice system from the captivity of the corrupt", Maia Sandu said.
In Bardar, Maia Sandu visited two local enterprises - a flower greenhouse, owned by a family of entrepreneurs, and a winery that produces cognacs. "I am always glad to meet hardworking people who have the courage to invest in business and create jobs, generating income for localities and the country. The state must ensure stability, improve infrastructure and reduce bureaucracy to increase the chances of economic agents. In Bardar, within the European Village Program, the expansion of the sewage system is being financed", the head of state said.
In Nimoreni, the president went to the construction site of the sports complex of the gymnasium - a project of almost 10 million lei within the European Village Program - which will ensure the students, but also other sports lovers in the locality, with suitable conditions for sports activities and of recreation. "The European Village program supports community development projects in almost half of the localities in the country. We want people in all villages and towns to enjoy good living conditions", the president said.
