Moldova's National Employment Agency suggests active measures of employment for citizens, employers

Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/ - The National Employment Agency (ANOFM) last year registered over 32,000 vacant jobs declared by about 3,300 employers.

According to ANOFM, more than 8,230 people were employed through Agency’s territorial subdivisions in 2022. Most jobless people were employed in the Chisinau city – about 1,200, Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia – over 450, Balti and Anenii Noi – about 350.

ANOFM director Raisa Dogaru stressed that the Agency had the task to enhance possibilities of employment of people who are looking for jobs, to back employers in identifying qualified labour force and creating vacant positions.

ANOFM provides citizens with services of informing about the labour market, career guidance, labour intermediation, pre-dismissal services, professional rehabilitation of people with disabilities, assisted employment and identification of youth not in employment, education or training (NEET).
