Exhibition by Moldovan fine artist to take place at Chisinau-based museum

Chisinau, 25 March /MOLDPRES/ - The National Museum of Romanian Literature, in partnership with the Writers’ Union of Moldova, on 27 March at 15:00 will organize an exhibition titled, Great personalities of the Romanian culture in the vision of fine artist Valentin Vartosu. A string of works by the fine artist will be presented at the event.    

The exhibition is staged on the occasion of Bessarabia’s Union with Romania and could be visited till 9 April 2023.

Valentin Vartosu is a Moldovan fine artist born in the Slobozia Cremene village, northern Soroca district, on 21 September 1962.  Vartosu debuted with the sculptural portrait, Mihail Ivanovici, in 1990. As of 2000, the fine artist became member of the Fine Artists’ Union (UAP), member of the International Association of Visual Artists (AIAP). He participated in most exhibitions organized by UAP and the Culture Ministry.

Valentin Vartosu is author of memorable crosses dedicated to the victims of the Soviet regime, memorial plaques set in public places, as well as of portraits dedicated to great personalities of the Romanian culture.
