Chisinau, 31 March /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today approved more legislative norms for the development of businesses at distance.

One of the most important provisions is the processing of notary acts at distance, by electronic means. In this way, decision-makers will be able to establish the identity and capacity of people, read the notary acts and establish the consent without the physical interaction between the sides and the notary. At the same, a list of notary acts, which will not be able to be provided by electronic means and at distance, was proposed in the draft.

Another provision of the draft is the compulsoriness for some providers of public services to ensure the availability of its webpages, information, data and applications published in the English language.

The draft envisages also a string of interventions on the employment of foreign citizens, without the need to get the right to stay on the purpose of labour and of the permit of stay on labour purpose. Foreigners who will be employed according to the procedure suggested will be exempted from the obligations of contributions to state social insurances and of the health insurances premiums for foreign citizens. The social and health insurance in the concerned case is to be carried out in their state of residence, in order to avoid the double taxation.

The draft law for the amendment of some normative acts (development of businesses at distance in Moldova) is worked out by the Economic Development and Digitalization Ministry, with the support of the Economic Council under the Prime Minister of Moldova and USAID Moldova.
