"The last presidential and parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova demonstrated the strong desire of society to align with the West, something that was duly recognized by the European Commission, when in June 2022, it granted Moldova the status of a candidate country for the Union European. Now is the crucial moment for Europe to demonstrate reciprocity towards the Moldovan society and a firm position towards the aggressive actions of Russia", the Declaration establishing the support network for the Republic of Moldova reads.

"I thank the European Parliament for constantly supporting the Republic of Moldova. I am sure this platform will help us keep Moldova on the agenda of the European chancelleries and promote the successes of our country", Popșoi said.

United for Moldova has the mission of facilitating coordination and support on the following priority topics for our country, such as: the EU integration process - the beginning of negotiations, the gradual integration of Moldova into the EU single market; countering Russian disinformation and other hybrid threats; strengthening regional security and energy security of Moldova; fighting corruption and strengthening the rule of law; financial support and assistance; re-evaluating and revitalizing efforts to find a political solution on Transnistria, with the help of the European Union and the West.
