Moldovan Business Gala to be inaugurated in Chisinau in next June

Chisinau, 28 May /MOLDPRES/ - Over 200 native companies will participate in the Moldovan Business Gala, due to be held in Chisinau in next June. The winners of the contests, Trademark of the Year and Prize for achievements in the quality sector, will be announced at the event. A record number of files were submitted at the editions from this year, which is by about 10 per cent more against the years before. The president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Sergiu Harea, has unveiled information to this effect in an interview given exclusively with MOLDPRES.     

„We are happy with the fact that entrepreneurs are interested in promoting the brands, trademarks, as well as with the fact that they invest in the quality of their products and services. This year, we have a number of 110 companies which submitted 16 nominations to the Trademark of the Year contest and 45 applications for the Prize for achievements in the quality sector. The number of files submitted is by about 10 per cent larger than in the year before at both contests. Over 200 native companies will participate in the Moldovan Business Gala,’’ Sergiu Harea said.

According to the CCI president, the Moldovan Business Gala is organized, in order to emphasize the investments the intellectual property and in quality. ‘’Once we are on the global market, it is important that we persevere in quality. The European products are quite ‘’spoiled,’’ everybody pursues the quality. The European consumers are attentive to what they consume and then the investment in quality is the one which matters,’’ the CCI head noted.  

Being at its 20th edition, the contest, Trademark of the Year, is one of the most efficient instruments of promoting trademarks on the domestic market and the external one. The contest, Prize for achievements in the sectors of assets’ and services quality, is at the ninth edition. Its goal is to highlight the companies which have successfully implemented the quality management and promote the modern quality approaches.    

During years, 1,800 trademarks have been promoted and backed by CCI, due to the contest, Trademark of the Year and over 500 companies have participated in the contest, Prize for achievements in the quality sector.
