Moldovan president participates in inauguration of concert hall of Community Centre from central Moldova village

Chisinau, 28 May /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today paid a short visit to the Puhoi village, central Ialoveni district, where a big concert hall was inaugurated after 20 years, when there was no functional community centre in this settlement. The reconstruction of the Community Centre was possible with the support of two mayoralties from Romania, Moara Vlasiei and Branesti, Ilfov county, the presidential press service has reported.

„The development of our villages and towns and the improvement of people’s living standards represent the foundation on which we want to edify the European Moldova. We will reach each settlement, through the European Village Programme and with the support of Moldova’s friends,’’ the head of state said.

„This is the European Moldova which we edify together: a free state, with arranged settlements and with citizens living in good understanding,’’ Maia Sandu stressed.
