Moldovan president meets Ambassador of Estonia at end of her mandate

Chisinau, 21 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has had a meeting with Bucharest-based Ambassador of Estonia to Moldova Ingrid Kressel Vinciguerra. In discussions, the Moldovan president appreciated the excellent relations between the two countries and the solid political support provided by Estonia on Moldova’s way of accession to the European Union, the presidential press service has reported.     

Estonia is an important partner for the country’s modernization, as it provides Moldova with development assistance, as priority. During years, Moldova has taken over the Estonian good practices of digitalization of the public services. At the same time, Estonia’s experience in the field of digital transformation and in the use of the artificial intelligence can serve as a good example for Moldova, as well as the one in ensuring the cyber security and counteracting the hybrid threats.    

In the end, the head of state thanked Ambassador Ingrid Kressel Vinciguerra for her service in strengthening the bilateral relations and wished her much success in the long run.
