Moldovan electoral body to propose to top court validation of MP mandate from PAS list

Chisinau, 2 Aug. /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) will propose to the Constitutional Court to validate MP mandate of alternate candidate Mariana Lucrețeanu, from the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) list.
Today the CEC took note of the vacancy of a deputy mandate in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova assigned to PAS. The mandate vacancy occurred following the resignation request of deputy Dan Perciun, who was appointed to the position of Minister of Education and Research.
Mariana Lucrețeanu is 43 years old, she is an engineer and specialist in international relations.
