Parliamentary committees approved over 110 reports and co-reports last month

Chisinau, Aug. 3 /MOLDPRES/- In July, the standing committees convened in 50 meetings. Following the debates within the commissions, 98 reports, 18 joint reports and 118 opinions were approved.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the members of the economy, budget and finance commission convened in eight meetings, and approved 40 reports and three joint reports. At the four meetings convened by the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission, 15 reports and 14 joint reports were approved. Also last month, the members of the legal committee on rules and immunities convened in six meetings, and approved 17 reports and a co-report.

Standing committees are working bodies of the Parliament that examine draft legislative acts and legislative proposals, carry out parliamentary inquiries, debates.
