Two magistrates requested CSM to be restored to office

Chisinau, 9 Aug. /MOLDPRES/- Two magistrates previously targeted in a bribery case asked the members of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) to be restored to office. One application was postponed by the CSM members, and another was partially admitted.
According to the CSM members, the request submitted by judge Liubovi Brînza was partially admitted, and she will resume her activity at the Chisinau Court of Appeal.
Today, the CSM members decided to postpone the examination of the application submitted by Svetlana Tizu.
Three female judges have now been targeted in a bribery case.
