Chisinau, August 10 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan entrepreneurs who wish to export their products and services to the Romanian market can apply for Export Missions Romania program, which was launched today in Chisinau.

The program represents support for the development and expansion of local companies on international markets. It provides a strategic platform to encourage collaboration between business, international trade experts and government institutions.

The 2023 edition of the program will be dedicated to the neighboring country, Romania, aimed at providing all the necessary support and information to companies that want to develop their businesses by exporting to this market.

Applications to participate in the program can be submitted starting today and until September 5.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization Viorel Garaz said today that thematic meetings will be organized with potential direct partners from Romania, and distribution partners on other EU markets.

Acting director of the Investment Agency Ion Iordachi said that at least 55 companies from the Republic of Moldova will be able to be selected for the program. For the first time, this year, the list of eligible sectors will also include the service sector. At the same time, in the current edition of the program, the participation procedure has been simplified, so that entrepreneurs who will export products for the first time can also be eligible.

The Export Missions program is implemented by the Investment Agency in partnership with the Competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Project supported by the World Bank.
