Moldova does not recognize so-called ''presidential elections'' from Nagorno-Karabakh region

Chisinau, 9 September /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova does not recognize the so-called ‘’presidential elections,’’ held in the Nagorno-Karabakh region today. The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) has made specifications to this effect.
According to MAEIE, the elections run counter the fundamental norms and principles of the international law.
The institution also reiterated the firm support of Moldova for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan within the internationally recognized borders.
