DOC Presidential decree on setting up Supreme Security Council published in Official Journal

Chisinau, 14 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The presidential decree on setting up Supreme Security Council was published in the Official Journal of Moldova.

Under the document, the Supreme Security Council is established with the following composition: president Maia Sandu; secretary Stanislav Secrieru - adviser to the president of the Republic of Moldova in the defense and national security.

Ex-officio members: Igor Grosu - speaker, Dorin Recean - Prime Minister, Lilian Carp - head of the National Security, Defense and Public Order Commission, Anatolie Nosatîi - Minister of Defense, Adrian Efros - Minister of Internal Affairs, Alexandru Musteata - director of the Intelligence and Security Service, Ion Munteanu - acting general prosecutor, Octavian Armașu - governor of the National Bank of Moldova.

The Supreme Security Council also includes Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization; Deputy Prime Minister Nicolae Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration; deputy prime minister for reintegration Oleg Serebrian; Veronica Mihailov-Moraru - Minister of Justice, Victor Parlicov - Minister of Energy, Andrei Spînu - Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Ala Nemerenco - Minister of Health.

The Government and the public administration authorities will present the Supreme Security Council with the necessary information for carrying out the activity and will provide it with multilateral assistance.
