Ten parties submitted documents for registration of candidate for Chisinau mayor

Chisinau, 19 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Today, ten political parties submitted the set of documents for the registration of the candidate for mayor of the capital.

It is about: Action and Solidarity Party - candidate Lilian Carp, Party of Socialists - Adrian Albu, Electoral Bloc Ruslan Codreanu - candidate Ruslan Codreanu, Building Europe at Home Party - Constantin Butucel, Party of Communists of Moldova - Diana Caraman, League of Cities and Communes - Mihail Vagas, Democracy at Home Party - Vasile Costiuc, European Social Democratic Party - Vadim Brînzaniuc, Respect Moldova Movement Party - Ion Ștefanița, Moldova Development and Consolidation Party - Anatolie Usatîi.

President of the Electoral Council of the Chisinau Municipal Electoral Circumstance No 1 Viorica Gadîmba said that after submitting the set of documents, they will be examined and a decision will be issued regarding the acceptance or rejection of the candidates. "The examination period is seven days," said Viorica Gadîmba.

The last day to submit the set of documents for the registration of the candidate in the general local elections is October 6.

The general local elections will be held on November 5.
