Moldovan servicemen attend Sage Eagle 2023 exercise in USA

Chisinau, 26 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Fulger Special Purpose Battalion soldiers and the U.S. Army Special Forces servicemen participated in the bilateral exercise Sage Eagle 2023. It took place on September 8-24 at a training ground in Texas, USA.

The purpose of the training was to increase the level of interoperability, the synchronization of operational procedures between the participating soldiers and the development of capabilities for executing missions.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the exercise included special research sessions, combat firing, training on JAVELIN simulators, providing medical first aid in complex environments, combat firing from 60 mm grenade launchers, parachute jumps and other missions.
