Chisinau, Oct. 2 /MOLDPRES/- The General Police Inspectorate (IGP) is carrying out a campaign on blood donation. Over 200 police officers donated blood during the first days of the action.
IGP press officer Oxana Toderita said that the blood donation action has already become a tradition for the national police.
"We want to give the chance of life to those in need by donating blood. At the same time, the humanitarian action is a call for society to donate blood, and in this way to show empathy and demonstrate that they care about the lives of those around them", said Toderita.
The campaign will be held by October 28, with the support of the Blood Transfusion Center.
