Moldova to join Paris Global Convention

Chisinau, 19 October /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova will join the Global Convention on Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education, adopted in Paris. The parliament adopted a draft law stipulating this.

The Convention’s goal is to facilitate the academic and professional mobility between regions and to enhance the international cooperation in the higher education.

Respectively, after Moldova joins this Convention, the students from Moldova and the teachers who opt for mobility programmes will benefit from more opportunities. Also, the higher education institutions will be fully included in the international circuit of educational services and will be connected to the international networks of information and recognition of qualifications.

The Global Convention on Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education was adopted in 2019. Twenty two states have ratified this Convention so far.
