Moldovan deputy PM has meeting with Ambassador of United Kingdom

Chisinau, 23 October /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian today received Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Moldova, His Excellency Steven Fisher, on a farewell visit, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.

The officials assessed the present stage of the Chisinau-Tiraspol interaction, as well as the current regional situation, the efforts made by Moldova’s authorities to maintain the stability and security in the region.

The deputy PM again thanked the UK diplomat for the constant support provided by the British government to the Moldovan authorities, in order to achieve the goal of the country’s peaceful reintegration.

The Moldovan official highly appreciated the cooperation he had had with Ambassador Steven Fisher during his mandate in Chisinau, the interest he had showed in the Transnistrian file, as well as for his contribution to the extension and deepening of the Moldovan-British relations. Oleg Serebrian wished the British diplomat much success in his further work.
