Moldovan wrestler won silver medal at U23 World Wrestling Championships

Chisinau, Oct. 25 /MOLDPRES/- Freestyle wrestler Ion Demian won the silver medal at the U23 World Wrestling Championships.
Our athlete only lost in the final of the category up to 92 kg to the Turkish Muhammed Gimri, score 1-3, and became world vice-champion. Until reaching this success, Ion Demian successively passed representatives of Georgia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Education and Research (MEC), the event is being held these days in the city of Tirana, Albania.
