More farmers to have access to Livada Moldovei project

Chisinau, Oct. 25 /MOLDPRES/- The list of eligible activities under Livada Moldovei project could be expanded. The parliamentary committee on foreign policy and European integration approved today the opinion on amending the financing contract between the Republic of Moldova and the European Investment Bank (EIB).
Thus, the eligibility criteria will be extended from the horticultural sector to the entire agri-food sector. They will be negotiated and approved with the financier of the project, the European Investment Bank.
The project implementation began in 2016, and the financing contract between the Moldovan government and the EIB has a value of 120 million euros.
