Moldovan film director gets prize at Yerevan Short Film Festival

Chisinau, 26 October /MOLDPRES/ - The film titled, ”Scrisoare de pe frontul de Est” (Letter from the Eastern Front) (Moldova-Germania, 2023), directed by Dumitru Grosei, has won the Special Prize of the Jury at the sixth edition of the Yerevan Short Film Festival 2023, held in Armenia (YISFF) on 20-24 October.   

At an invitation by the festival’s organizers, film director Dumitru Grosei was present during the entire festival and was able to participate in the prize-awarding ceremony.   

There were over 70 movies in the contest this year, sent from 75 countries. YISFF is one of the most famous festivals from Armenia, which selects the best film directors from all over the world.
